Sustenance takes many forms. It is found in the people we gather with, the traditions we inherit, the memories we share, and the food that brings us together.

Manna takes its name from the ancient idea of sustenance as something given, shared, and sacred. Inspired by the shared South African Jewish heritage of the curator and restaurateur, the exhibition brings together artists from across the Southeast to reflect on the many ways we are sustained through food, family, tradition, memory, collaboration and community.

Participating artists include the collaborative work of Laura Deems and Cameron Wilson Ritcher, alongside works by Jordan Wright Patterson and Melanee Brown, among others.
